Beach Nourishment Complete
Word from the Corps is that they are done with dredging/sand placement in OB/GS/GSP and the contractor is demobilizing.

Re: Beach Nourishment Complete
I was tired of them messing up my pompano fishing down there toward Florida. Maybe it'll settle down now, and we all hope that things don't silt up under the pier.

Yes, of course he's wearing them out---I'm up in the turkey woods trying to get some scouting done so I can get my limit and get back to the salt water. Oh, well, I got quite a few of the pomps before I left. I checked by your store before I left (I was leaving as you drove in) to make sure y"all would be able to get along without me and I saw a mighty fine looking custom rod being worked on in the back.

He was in this morning and said his afternoon party kept nine and threw back several others and not a one of them had ring around the gills. The one good thing about the dredge being on the east side of the pass was it kept the net boats at bay, poor pompano........
