Catching mullet on a jig?
never had that happen to me before, but maybe it's not that unusual. Throwing a jig, caught some good White Trout and three Specks... and reeled in a mullet with the hook in the top jaw. I know they have to eat too, but I've been fishing for 50 years and this was a first for me.
anyway, the Bucket List just got smaller.

I’ve caught them in the mouth on jigs and Sabikis when they’re smoking but that’s because their mouths are out and exposed Sounds like you got one to eat for reel! Pretty cool!

Nothing more fun than walking the beach force feeding mullet the silver cricket. RIP old man with the straw hat..

Yeah me too
I saw one yesterday but it was closed mouth. Would not eat anything thrown. I personally know of 3 that have been caught in the last two weeks. No kings yet.
