Fishing guide?
Will start fishing tomorrow morning during this short 4 night stay. Thinking of getting a guide. Have a hard time spending 600 plus for a guide for many reasons. If I did I don't care about a big fish. I love seeing the rod bend and reeling in a whiting. Had a great lunch at the Hip Pocket Deli in Pensacola. Surrounded by Navy service men and women. God Bless America! Maybe I'll see you on the beach tomorrow.

It's not as easy (nor difficult) as it sounds...

Went to Perdido pass and fished along the wall. Lots of pin fish etc but didn't see anyone catch a nice fish. Lots of boats around the bridge pilings but didn't see any fish coming in. Ended up at Romar Beach access and caught around 20 whiting but none over 12 inches. Nothing else and no one else fishing. Not sure where next. Just got back from Doc's on canal and have a food coma going on. Will get some some fresh shrimp and try somewhere else. Love it down here!

I saw one yesterday but it was closed mouth. Would not eat anything thrown. I personally know of 3 that have been caught in the last two weeks. No kings yet.
