Bring a dozen Krispy Kremes and meet up with "The Breakfast Club" in the shallows at the pier and you will get plenty of intel & fish ;-)

I appreciate all the offers. I am a decent fresh water fisherman but the salt water is a whole new game and with as little time as i get a little help along the learning curve would sure help things.

leave your cat fishing gear at home, most bring way to big equipment to the salt,(I did my first trip and regretted it with noodle arms throwing gotcha's and jigs all day ) OK if your going offshore,or cobia season, but most med to med heavy works...and even med light for the smaller fish....it's not hard if you pay attention, even I can do it and catch a few fish

visit J&M and they will fix you up on rigging....for targeted fish then hit the pier and observe.

If we all help you out, will you take the whole bunch to lunch at the Cayman Grill? (Don't worry, they wouldn't let us old pier rats in, anyhow. ---Afraid somebody might catch whatever it is that causes us to be that way.)
