Fathers Day at the Pier
I arrived at the pier around 4pm and there where some nice Spanish being caught on live shrimp and LY. I heard of one King being landed. I was having trouble cause I didn't have live shrimp & couldn't get any hits on my LY. My Daughter showed up with a couple dozen Live Shrimp but it had slowed down a lot. Just before dark I was on the East side of the bathroom and in 30 minutes landed (3) nice Spanish a Pompono (16") and my grandson landed, with help, a double hand size Spade.
In all, a good day on the pier and the weather was nice and water was clear.

Thanks for the report, Hall. Good to hear that there a few fish being caught. Better than earlier reports. Glad you got to stink up your ice chest.

Haven't been on the Pier and Grand Kids want to try fishing just wondering if the sharks are still as bad as they have been in the past?

Good news is that kids think sharks are cool, and having your fish eaten by a shark is super cool. You just need to spin it right. Imagine how double plus cool having Flipper eat your fish would be.

That’s actually not a bad strategy,…kids have a different perspective.
I saw one yesterday but it was closed mouth. Would not eat anything thrown. I personally know of 3 that have been caught in the last two weeks. No kings yet.
