Dirty water headed South

Right now the Tennessee River is flowing about 2.7 million gallons per second through Wilson Dam. That's about what my treatment plant produces in a 24 hour day. We have had a ton of rain up here and are expecting more. The Tennessee and Cumberland meet at Land Between The Lakes and then flow a short distance to the Ohio and then down to the Mississippi. All that muddy water has to go somewhere when it hits the Gulf. If there is a silver lining it is that currents can push to the East and keep some of the mud away from the pier and at least most of the crop fields in the river bottoms up here haven't been plowed yet. Given my luck all this muddy water will hit in mid March just in time for our spring break trip. Has the fresh water coming through the Delta turned Mobile bay into chocolate milk as well?
