FYI West End Beach closes at like 6pm :-(
There is nothing with lights that has public access for fishing after dark on the island.
Small blue crabs can be used whole (just crush the claws),
but bigger ones should remove the back shell and break the body in half.

We fished the golf course a few times at night, we caught white trout by the thousands off the little "land pier" that has formed. Also some huge Rays. Used shrimp and cut bait. Yes, white trout do eat white trout.
We had two lanterns, it's very dark out there.

One of the best cut bait for white trout is white trout bellies.
Yesterday I caught a Smooth Puffer fish in the surf. Looked sort of like a northern puffer or Blowfish which are great to eat. But then I researched it and "7. Are smooth back puffer fish...
Which are DO NOT EAT fish?
