Cobia jigs
What is a good go to cobia jig for the GSP Pier? Came back from Destin and guys had rods ready for them and just watching the bit stained green water with maybe 4-5 foot visibility. Some said a Frank Helton "ding-a ling jig" was the best but Frank has been dead for a while.

I like orange, J&M has a new selection ,get them before picked over..... a rack full
I'll be sporting my own, not that it will do me any good..... I'd have to get real lucky over there

The fisherman's eyesight and casting accuracy matter most. Visible colors for water conditions and castability for distance are popular. Sharp hooks and good knots.

I’ve never caught a cobia, but the jigs made by Ben Arnold and family seem well made. I purchased three from him a couple years ago. Their business name is Birds of Prey and they have some items on shelves at Sam’s and I believe J&M. Maybe one day I can get one decked.
