    That time of year daily weather has more to do with willingness to fish (and success) than in summer. Also, some years water temps are just better for fishing later in the season than others.

    End of December can be pretty good or very challenging depending on the weather and water conditions.
    Often the later if we have entered into 'wintertime'.
    Cooler water will manage what is biting (or not).
    But a great bunch of folks fishing the pier on almost daily basis...
    (RETIRED) mostly.
