Kinda reminds me of what comes on a Sabiki rig.....
It did to me as well, only supersized into a bullet jig, didnt look half bad so figured it was worth a shot, guy said he used them for specs and did well with them
Depending on its size it could be a good spec jig. Slow under a popping cork to mimic the small anchovies the trout are feasting on right now. Sometimes they won't hit any but something looking like a sardine, aka glass minnow
Their about 2-3 inches long, figure 3/8 maybe 1/2 oz weight, be something to try out in the shallows when im down, may even see if the spanish will hit it if they decide to not want to hit the usual line up
Don't know why they would not work for Spanish .
Spanish was my first thought when i saw them, look like a flashy looney jig, then he brought up the specs when i bought them so may turn out to be a decent muti species bait, find out when i try them out
