Here Comes Fred...
The tropical system designated as "Fred" has degenerated to an 'open wave' today, but is forecast to turn northward and regenerate to a medium strength tropical storm before coming ashore Monday night, possibly along the Baldwin County coast...
IF this scenario plays out as forecast the pier could be in for a rough ride with winds exceeding 50 miles per hour and seas possibly exceeding 16 feet...
Sunday NightTropical storm conditions possible. East winds 18 to 23 knots increasing to 20 to 25 knots. Seas around 6 feet building to around 8 feet. Dominant wave period 9 seconds. Showers and thunderstorms likely.
Monday
Tropical storm conditions possible. East winds around 35 knots becoming northeast around 40 knots. Gusts up to 50 knots becoming 55 knots. Seas around 14 feet building to around 16 feet.

I saw one yesterday but it was closed mouth. Would not eat anything thrown. I personally know of 3 that have been caught in the last two weeks. No kings yet.
