Beach Club
Hi guys,
Any decent surf fishing near the "Beach Club" in Fort Morgan? Our rental is on Pompano Way and sometimes I am required for "family time" and not always able to slip away to the Pier or wherever. Tried last year, end of March, with not a lot of success. Still had a great time though.

There's solid-very good surf fishing all through that stretch of sand. We have caught everything from 7' bull sharks, 4' rough tail stingrays, pompano, whiting, redfish, big black drum, pretty much something can be caught from the surf there year round if the water temp would warm up from these frigid temps. Find a little break in the bat if you can, there are several through there and bombard it with bait. Small lures at daybreak fished close to the beach in warmer months tend to produce very pleasant results.
