Back again
Well, back down to GS after taking last year off to hunt pronghorn in wyoming. We are staying on west beach in a taller complex and our unit is near the top. Wow, typically we stay in one of the three story developments and the views in this unit is worth the money. Arrived late afternoon yesterday. I can’t help but notice the beach is rather skinny compared to many years past. The first cut is right at the beach then with a shallow bar then gradual slope to deeper water. Fish and rays everywhere. Excited for the beach bum tourney, I typically will post a few reports while down here. Two weeks me and the wife have, then back to wyoming again in 2024. Tight lines
blessings

We look forward to the reports!
People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

Use your height in the tower to look for cuts to fish if you’re gonna fish the beach. Take note of them with a terrain or building feature so you can accurately find them in the early hours. They can be a challenge sometimes to find in low light & low wave conditions. AND POST LOTS! Good luck.
God bless!

Countless whiting all in that 7” range. I do have one in the box at 13ish”. 1 small pomp Just tan upstairs to see how the tide changed things and it still the same. Beach side of the bar has been key so far. Shrimp fish bites over sand flea bites and nothing on the freshly raked fleas yet.

I saw one yesterday but it was closed mouth. Would not eat anything thrown. I personally know of 3 that have been caught in the last two weeks. No kings yet.
