Check with Mike Peek on the lady d
i had a great time a few years ago on the Annie Girl. He does a lot of longer trips but i dont know his prices or anything but might be worth a check
Would you guys want another person to join you in August? I may can come down. Also would like a long trip, and of course could help with the expense of the trip. I'm a Tennessee Muskie Guide.
I went out on that Annie Girl and it broke down while we were out there. We caught a boat load of fish and had a blast but it sure was a long slow trip back in. The captain even tried to refund our money, which we refused.
I've had a really good experience with Jimmy Waller on the Big Adventure out of Zeke's Landing for an overnight charter.
Check out Sea Hunter Charters Ricky McDuffie is a third gen Captain. I have fished with him for about 15 years. June 8 we brought back a boat load of black fin and snapper on a 18 hr trip. Huge snapper. Good guy and I have not been disappointed. good luck. I
Stay away from Miss Jenny out of Zeke's.
Anyone have a suggestion for a party type boat? Would be just two of us and cant afford to charter a whole boat but would like something that can take 6-8 people. Any ideas?
Just use google and start calling to see if anyone is working on a walk on trip. Captains appreciate when you call them directly to save them on a marina booking fee. Chipper's Clipper, High Cotton, Max Drag, Class Act, Fairwater, Cool Change, Intruder, Distraction, Getaway... the list goes on.
I have heard that pierless is the guy you want to go with I plan on doing so in September.
Are there any "head boats" or party boats at all in the area?
Notice is always good.
I'm an inexpensive family friendly near-shore trip. I do my best to catch what I can given the limitations I deal with (slow boat, no federal permits, limited budget). If you want to go on a freezer filling fish kill, book someone else.
Do you have a website (hope you can't get in trouble for promoting yourself on the forum)? Do you have suggestions for "freezer filling fish kill" charters (I hope that's not coming off as rude--I'm just assuming you've got some friends you wouldn't mind promoting)?
I have always been pleased with Capt Al Bednar out of Sanroc Cay. Have fished with Al for about 10 years and have never came back without a box full of fish. He is also very reasonably priced. His boats are more basic than some(no satellite TV, etc.) but his focus is killing fish, not a luxury cruise.
I don't have any info about my fishing online really. I fish offshore a time or two a year with Curtis and we slaughter the fish max drag charters
Lady D, High Cotton, Annie Girl... there are many good boats in town who will do everything they can to get you on the fish, just book a long enough trip.
The best suggestions for an 12 or 18 hour is Summer Breeze 2 60 ft resmondo or Annie girl charters which is also a resmondo both great captains I worked for summer breeze 2 last summer
curtis seems to be a pretty good deal. Just wish i had another person or 2 to split the trip with. Prolly gonna have to go with a cheaper walk on to stay on budget for the trip a little better.
When are you going to be there Bajacoop
Week of October 13th
I got it. Thanks for the info.
I realize that I am about 3 months late in seeing this but I saw your post and I have to ask... There are muskie in TN??? I live near Memphis and always assumed that there were no pike or muskie down here. I was born and raised up north in Illinois and always assumed those were northern fish.
My 14 year old son and I are in town until October 18. We would love to go on a reasonable priced charter. Please PM me with your suggestions. We will be at the pier all day today.
